Spoiler Types

There is misguided between Spoiler with Wings among automotive fans, This short explanation may be useful for you.

Wings is actually serves to produce more “downforce” from the air stream that passes through this device, not to alter the flow pattern that exists.

Rear Spoiler while working to change the air flow through the area around the vehicle that are running, by directing air flow through a particular form.

Generally, the spoiler is divided into two types, namely:

Air dam: Spoiler is located on the front of the vehicle referred to as the “Water Dam”, a regular installation under the bumper of the vehicle.

Rear spoiler:  spoiler can be placed at the stern / tail of the vehicle.
